VTNZ is the largest motor vehicle inspection and testing organisation in New Zealand with 86 stations nationwide (nearly all of our stations offer in-station advertising space). Our stations are uniquely placed to deliver to the advertiser the single largest demographic of pre-qualifed motoring consumers in New Zealand.
There are three forms of advertising available within VTNZ.
In-Station Advertising
In-Station Radio
Our own programmed In-Station Radio airs in the 50+ highest volume stations during all opening hours and will reach in excess of 850,000 customers per year. Advertising content is spread among the easy listening and top 40 playlist that is continually updated.
Advertisers are limited to four national advertisers only, each with exclusivity in their sector. This delivers a clean message environment, ensures listener engagement and message cut-through.
In-Station Radio is only available in a bundled format and includes one billboard and one A4 poster per station with in-station radio.

A4 Poster & Business Card Holder
This is the smaller of our formats and consists of a standard A4 sheet which is inserted between two layers of a perspex bi-fold holder. The holder has a box attached to the front at the bottom which is designed to hold business cards, discount vouchers, fridge magnets or any other similar promotional material. The holder is then hung from the advertising boards located in our waiting or reception areas.
Billboard Signage
This is the larger format available and most stations have railings fitted on the walls of the vehicle lanes which the billboards slide into, or wooden frames to mount them on. Our billboard spots are standardised at 1800mm wide by 600mm high and most advertisers choose to produce them on 5mm core flute for a cost effective display method.
While being less interactive than the smaller format, these are well suited for brand awareness catching the customers' eye as they enter and depart from the vehicle lanes. These are also visible from most of our waiting areas.
