Station Manager
The Station Manager's role is a key one as they are managing a customer focused business with the support of their station team and the VTNZ procedures and processes.
Station sizes vary around the country and therefore the role also varies. In some situations it is important for the Station Manager to have vehicle inspection authorities and work 'in the business' as well as 'on it'. In larger stations there is still a requirement for industry knowledge in addition to the essential people management skills. Other required skills are a customer focus, adaptability, integrity and trust, ability to deal with uncertainty, good communication skills, business development skills and a results focussed approach.
