Step 1: Buy a Vehicle Information ReportTM (VIR). A VIR gives you accurate information on the vehicle's history (whether there's money owing, if it has inconsistent odo readings, how many owners). Get an instant VIR

Step 2: Book a Pre-Purchase Inspection Report (PPI). It’s a comprehensive report on the vehicle’s mechanical and structural soundness.

Step 3: Get a Red Book vehicle valuation certificate to see what the vehicle is worth: Red Book vehicle valuation certificate

NB: Engine tests are unable to be carried out on some vehicles (mostly diesel). If tests cannot be carried out, the Vehicle Inspector's expert opinion on the condition of the engine will be provided.
